Question VA Nursing - Urgent Care/ER

I have a question for VA Nurses about the Urgent Care and ER at your hospitals. In advance thank you, and I do appreciate any input you may have on the subject.

My understanding is that an ER at the VA is not a traditional ER, but more of a nighttime Urgent Care clinic of sorts. I may be mistaken, but I'm wondering, even if none of you VA nurses work there, what your impressions of that area of VA nursing may be.

Thank you again.

Re: VA Nursing - Urgent Care/ER

Anyone?

You don't have to work in the Urgent Care at the VA, but if you're a VA nurse or affiliated with the VA and you have some input, I'd love to hear it.
