Reserves with Public Health Experience?

I have worked as a Public Health Nurse most recently for 4 years. Before that I was an NICU and PICU nurse for 6 years but that was 7 years ago. If I joined the Army National Guard or Reserves, would this lack of recent hospital experience be a problem? I've never been able to ascertain what exactly I'd be doing on weekends or the 2 weeks a year duty. Would I be doing hospital nursing only? Would I receive some training to refresh myself I am not opposed to this, in fact I would enjoy it. However, I just want to be prepared and not a strain on the unit. This is the only real drawback for me entering. I am 41 yrs old with a BSN.
