Nursing designations?

I see people talking about med/surg, OB and ICU designators. Are there any others? Other than the work itself, are there benefits to different designators, like more pay, faster promotions, better options?

I'm really interested in the OR, and maybe becoming an RNFA. Do they offer this position in the military?
