History of nursing in M.A.S.H. units - Need info.

I am searching for information about the history of nursing within a M.A.S.H. unit. I am a nursing student and this is a group project that we have a couple of weeks to complete.

I have found a few web sites but they seem to lack real meat and are pretty general.

Does anyone know of perhaps several resources that I might be able to check out?

Thanks so much

Well, you might want to look back and research where MASHs came from, give a history of what led up to their development, and what they are now (they're not MASHs anymore, the last MASH ended in '97)

Mash

I hate to say this but there is an active MASH in Germany, the 212th MASH which deployed to Iraq.

Here is a link for them www.lstat.com/MASH_212_Germany_2000.html
