Help: Letter of Intent

I have to write a letter of intent for joining the Army reserves as a psych nurse. Problem is, I don't know where to start and I'm having trouble getting motivated. My recruiter is knocking down my door to get it, anyone have any ideas? examples? I'm lost.
I hope someone can help. Thanks

Hello. Well when I wrote my letter of intent I put down the reason(s) that I wanted to be an Officer with the ANC. My oldest son was my main reason. When he was critically injured down range he was MEDVAC to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. I arrived there by myself and would have "lost it" if it weren't for the Army and Air Force nurses who took care of both him and me.
I also wrote other stuff....Say, didn't your Health Care Recruiter give you a few examples of other's letters of intent?
Anyway, if you want I can PM you my whole letter that I wrote three years ago...
good luck!

Sadly he did not give me any examples. If you wouldn't mind doing that, I would REALLY apprecaite it. Would be great to see an example.
