Not that I really care much where I am sent, but I am just curious. Do you get to pick your duty assignments, or are they assigned?

Where will I likely be stationed as a new Navy nurse?

Generally, it is one of the "Big 3." Either Bethesda, MD, Portsmouth, VA, or San Diego, CA. You get to choose from a list, but this is generally where all new Navy NUrses go. I went to San Diego, it was my second choice. After I graduate from grad school I'll be heading to Bethesda, so I might see you there.
