Considering a transfer to VA in Las Vegas or San Francisco

Hi all. I am a new grad and work at the Milwaukee VA (since Feb 2006). After I put in a year here in Milwaukee, I am considering a transfer to the VA in Vegas or the VA in San Francisco. Anybody out there know how much pay is out there for a new grad with a year experience at another VA? Also, cost of living is so much higher in those two cities. What areas should I look at for affordable and safe housing.? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, including info about the VAs in those cities. Also, do they have BCMA and CPRS, computerized charting at those facilities?
Have a great weekend!
