Hello All,
Ok, I am a civilian nurse getting ready to make the plunge into the military once again. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can contrast the differences for me, from civilian to military. I am an operating room nurse. I have asked my recruiter to take me on a tour of an O.R. in the Air force. So hopefully I will feel more secure about my decision. The one thing that I find appealing about the military is the rank factor. I imagine that I will have more authority as opposed to what I do now. I can’t tell you how tired I am of being bossed around by techs and orderlies!
