Hello Everyone,
I am contemplating going to nursing school and was wondering if the military is able to assist with the training.
I recently graduated with my B.A. in Communications and tried to find a job, but no luck. I am happily married and have a beautiful 15-month old daughter.
After I had my daughter, I discovered my passion for caring for others. I really want to get into nursing, but I already have $50,000 in student loan debt.

My ex-husband was in the Air Force and I truly loved the military lifestyle, granted I was a civilian. My husband is very supportive and loves to travel, so it might be perfect for us.
My questions are:
1. Am I eligible for any type of assistance? I am 30...
2. I have not applied to nursing school, but I have a B.A. Are there any options for support while I am since I am not in nursing school yet? Does the military have their own training?
3. Obviously I do not want to be away from my family for any amount of time...is there a branch that will
(really) not send me away from my family? I do not know if I could handle that.
4. I am contemplating the Navy and Air Force...which one do you recommend?
I thank you in advance for your feedback!
