Hey everyone,

I just had a quick question about Army OBLC...I'm going to be 26 years old by the time I get my BSN and plan on going to OBLC after that. I just wanted to know if there will be people my age there...I know it sounds like a petty question...and I'm going to join the Army no matter what but I was just curious as to whether I will be around people my age or will everyone else be around 21 or 22? If anyone knows anything about this, please reply!! Thanks!!!

Re: Amedd Oblc

I wouldn't worry about your age. Actually from reading many of posts on here, I think you would still be one of the younger people there. I will be attending OBLC next summer and will be 31.

Re: Amedd Oblc

You will be in the lower age group, I'm sure. OBLC is for ALL medical folks. That means MDs, Dental, Vet, RN, PT, etc. Some of those degree programs take longer than a BSN. I would have been 49 going thru OBLC but I was able to get it waived because I was prior service as an officer for 10 years and had civilian RN experience. You'll be one of those "whipper snappers" Good luck to you.
