Active Duty DEP, currently commisioning as reserves prior to AD entry

Hi,
Just wondered exactly how this worked, since I am going to sign the paperwork tomorrow.

Hey...anyone else heard of that? I am accepted as Active Duty yet will be commisioning tomorrow and then "re-commision" three days before going Active Duty. Am I misunderstanding this or is this how they do DEP?
