Wellness Nurse/Health Screening Business

I am looking at starting a wellness/health screening business. My target population would be seniors and other members of the general public via senior centers, health clubs, etc. Is anyone else doing something similar? Have any suggestions? Thanks.

Dear Brian,

WOW ! What a good idea, a what a difference it could make. One key element to consider, first, would be what u could charge. Have heard that ability to pay is an issue w/ some elderly populations, unless Medicare would pay.......

And, what kind of screening could a nurse legally provide???

I like the idea as well. Wellness is very broad. What were you thinking in terms of that?

And Bgn makes a good point. Unless you are a nurse practitioner, I would think that your screening would be limited. However, I find some elderly/seniors are delighted in getting the 'simple' types of screening. If they could, they'd probably get their vitals done everyday.
