4 week assignment 36 hours a week

I want a 4 week assignment but I don't want to commit to 48 hours a week. Has anyone had a 4 week assignment that only required 36 hours/week?

Re: 4 week assignment 36 hours a week

No. In fact, it seems to be exceedingly difficult to get a 4 week assigment even if you will commit to 48-60 hours. Seems like 8 weeks is the usual minimum. I have signed up with multiple agencies that advertise 4,6,8 week assigments and have always requested a 4 weeker but there was never anything available.

My last assigment was an 8 week assigment. This time I was signing up for 8 and had the interview and everything and they changed it to 13 weeks! I took it anyway since it's only 1.5 hours from my house and I get a huge tax free housing stipend.

You can try asking your recruiter to submit you for an assignment and ask if they are interested in taking you for 4 weeks instead of 8. That's what I suually do. Sometimes they will an sometimes they won't. Depends on their needs.
