I've been interested in breaking into telephone nursing for a while, at least from a conceptual standpoint. Can anyone recommend some big name companies I can possibly apply to? I'm shy of two years as an RN but have had a year at a level 1 trauma ICU that might suffice.

I would check with the insurance companies. They're not triage per se, but they do offer telephone nursing. I think Highmark BCBS is caled "Blues On Call", Aetna, UPMC and Health Assurance all have their own versions as well.
