Hi,
I am new to this site, but have been working in telephone triage for 6yrs for IntelliCare. I think it is a rip off to pay per call personally. We pay our nurses anywhere from $20-24/hr to start, depending on the geographic location. Hope this helps. Our nurses are held to pretty strict performance standards and our team of 187 nurses average around 8-10min call time windows. (of course there are exceptions i.e. suicide calls etc)

Hello this may sound like a stupid question but how do you go about getting into this field and can LPN's do it? I live in West Virginia and this is the first I have heard of anything like this.

I just started doing telephone triage 1 month ago and started at $25 plus $3.75 diff, I live in Florida so that is ok pay. In addition, I do work with LPNs. The job description & pay is different but they are also triaging calls.
