White uniforms

Hi all, I'm in a graduating class and we are working on our final plans and some have thought of us getting pictures taken in all white uniforms. But we don't want to use our school uniforms b/c they are different. Actually I think we are looking at white dresses, not sure.

Anyway, can you provide some links to good places to find white nursing clothing? Thanks!

Re: White uniforms

This is the dress the class in front of me is wearing

http://www.bestbuyuniforms.com/detail.asp?id=222-W

It's pretty cheap.

My class has decided to just wear our ugly uniforms and then have a uniform buring party when it's over ( that's an ongoing joke...I doubt we will do it). We decided to take the $17 each and just throw that into a better party instead of a dress we will never wear again. But, $17 is cheap!

Re: White uniforms

Thanks! Yeah I am not a big fan of white dresses either so I'm not sure how its going to go...I think we'll probably take a vote, I'd rather not spend money on stuff I'm not going to use.

Landau has a white a-line skirt, as does Peaches. They're pretty inexpensive. Just wear them with a white scrub top or tee-shirt.

I, as a male nurse, would ESPECIALLY like to wear not only ALL white, but a white dress! No offense.

Re: White uniforms

All white, sounds great to me. If you look at the group photos of some of the classes of my school, a lot of them chose street clothes. They look like just a bunch of strangers who got pulled off the street for a photo. You wouldn't know what they are in the photo for except for the caption provided with the framing. Even if you all wear your awful uniforms, at least you would look like a nursing school class, and you would have that much more to laugh about 20 yrs from now.

Re: White uniforms

Yeah I'm thinking maybe the uniforms. We could do dresses but not all of us wear dresses. I'm not a fan of them LOL!

We dont' have any males in our class sadly but I should have cleared that up LOL before I put dresses on the post!

Yeah I agree, maybe our uniforms would be better than nothing! We were also thinking our caps and gowns but I think we might end up in our uniforms instead.
