Just wanted to pass on this info for those of you that are required to wear white shoes. I am really picky about my shoes since I get plantar fasciitis on and off if I wear shoes w/o the right support...Plus my feet are huge (size 12!!) so I can't find a lot of shoes in my size. Don't like Dansko clogs (love the sandals though), not allowed to wear Crocs, and my Walmart doesn't have those white shoes everyone else is talking about. Anyway, I went to a Nike outlet store and found
these shoes w/ the right support for me but it turns out they are cheerleading shoes. They are soooo comfy!! They have a bit of grey on them but I think that's ok for my school (and if not, I'll paint over the grey or something) so I bought them ($39.99, and no tax since it's "tax-free back-to-school shopping week" here in FL). Got home and looked them up online and found a bunch of cheerleading stores...Turns out, almost all cheerleading shoes are white!! So if you are having trouble finding white shoes you like, google 'cheerleading shoes' and you will find stores that sell tons of different kinds of white sneakers. Now I definitely know where I will look when it is time to get new ones!
