Why does everything go wrong the same week school starts? Had an issue at work Sat. night....just myself after 11 for 6.5 hrs, and felt really crappy all night....Come home, find out the sewer line backed up into the basement...called roto rooter at 6:30AM , said They'd be here by noon, then the 1st job took long, the 2nd job was outside and it's raining, etc.....long story short, now it's 6:50PM and they say they won't be here till after 9PM.....
I was trying to get some sleep, clean the house, and get school stuff together today....Now I'll be lucky if I just get some sleep.....
(Side Vent)...why do plumbers have 24 hr emergency service advertised, when no one picks up the phone? ARGGHHHH!!!! Just had to vent this out....wish me luck this week.....

Good Ol' Murphy's Law. Happens to me all the time!!! It seems like when it rains it pours. I feel sometimes like someone is testing me to see how much I can possibly handle. Good luck getting through all of your mess...I'm sure things will get better! Hope you are feeling better

Sorry it happened, but glad it was BEFORE school started. I sure wouldn't want to deal with that and class, homework, etc!

I can totally relate. Son started kindergarten today and he is stopped up. Daughter goes to the baby sitter tomorrow and she is constipated and stopped up and I start school tomorrow as well and I am stopped up and sick to my stomach!!! Could it get any worse?!!!!!

Good luck this week. The road of my life is strewn with detours like this. I really think it is karma of some kind. It really prepares you for a nursing career though. Stamping out those fires is what we RNs are the best at! Hang in there.

So, nice update.....Roto rooter finally showed up at 8AM and took 15 mins to unblock the pipe....so the water aspect is fixed....spent 4 hours cleaning, and waiting for water to dry now, so that I can do some laundry and get my uniform for work and school cleaned.....
First day of 3rd semester is tomorrow!!!! Can't wait, cause by JUNE/JULY I'll be passing the NCLEX!!!!!! WOOT!

this is how i feel...i wish school would hurry up and start cuz then ill be that closer to graduating lol....i cant wait to hurry up and start the rest of my life

i am also starting my 3rd semester on aug 30th with a transition seminar on thursday
