Hey Im using MedSurg by Lewis. Do you guys like your medsurg books?

I use Brunner and Suddarths Med-surg. I'm happy with it.

Medical-Surgical Nursing by Ignativiticus. I do not like it at all. I learn and can stay awake with the subsitutes that I use and even allnurses.com. Its also a blessing that our powerpoint notes and lectures are so detailed.

We use Introduction to Medical/Surgical Nursing by Linton. It's OK, but we are in a 2 year ADN program and the book is for LPN programs.

Our director is a little frustrated because we will all need new books for 2nd year.

The book is pretty good, but it would have been nice to be able to use the same book for 2nd year....

I will say that the CD and the online resources aren't very helpful. It did come with a work book that is wonderful, has lots of activities and test questions in it.

Me too. I would like it even better if it was divided into two volumes b/c it is so darn heavy.

We use iggy too...the bad thing is our instructor disagrees with sooooo much out of it, so why the heck do we use it?! Im not too thrilled with the book either..........

This is the one that we used in our LVN program. Mine came a virtual clinical excursions book and cd. But we did not get a workbook with this one.

My school uses Iggy too. I don't know what I think of it yet; I havn't had too much opportunity to use it. It seems okay.

Another Iggy user, and hater. Its horribly detailed and hard to follow. My instructors don't like it either and are planning to switch sometime soon.
