I usually try to finish studying, completing care plans, etc., by 9 or 10 p.m., sleep, and then get up at 4 or 5 a.m. if I need to review for a test or complete something. One of my classmates, however, said she just puts her head down on her book, takes a little snooze, and then wakes up a little later and starts studying again! Coffee still works good for me, tho.
I either stop at 9-10 and watch TV for an hour and go to bed, or I take a nap earlier in the day and study after napping. I also try not to study in places I know I will fall asleep, and sometimes I will listen to music while I study to keep my brain stimulated.
