~ lotts of hand lotion! (your hands getso dry from all the hand washing)
~ I took the advise of someone on here and getting all my books debinded and 3 hole punched, i even did this w/some of my nclex review books, one 3 inch 3 ring binder hold everyhting i need for each unit durring the semester, i throw it into a large binder and then for finals everything is in order in one BIG binder.
~ Typing up my notes and using color on txt for definitions, quotes.... helps a ton
~ flashcard exchange and print them out instead of hand writting flash cards (plus you can put it on the PDA)
~ A very understanding and supportive boyfriend
~ facials every 3 months- theres a spa near my house, a little pricy but very nice and relaxing, they even do an upper body massage while everything is going on on your face. nice 2 to 3 hour relaxation time ( i try to do one before an exam or finals!

Hi,
I am trying to find somewhere that sells reusable/wipe off calendars that come with two or three months side by side so I can write my assignments/tests on a big "board" and havea quick overview/ view of my week. I had one when I was in college 10 years ago but trashed it when I expected I wouldn't need it any more. I have looked on google and at Staples but no luck. I am hoping someone on here knows what I am talking about and can help me out. Thanks.

student1000, I know Office Depot carries 90 and 120 day wall calendars, that's where I got mine. Just ask them where the big dry-erase wall calendars are. It makes life a lot easier to have your whole semester written out in one place!

I have seen those dry erase boards at Target. My daughter has one and puts all of her reminders on it and some of them even have a corkboard too. What I did , sounds cheesy, but I used my cell phone... and then when an exam was approaching Id have the alarm buzz a day before just as a reminder... my phone worked like a charm...

Check with the policy at the facility where you will be doing clinicals first. Many places don't allow phones/PDAs with cameras on it. I had to get a regular PDA instead of using a smartphone, etc... Check first before you buy. I just bought a Palm T/X and love it. Hope this helps

I don't know if this helps anyone, but everyone has been to fantastic in their advice, I would like to offer any help that I can!

As far as shoes go, I have worked as a waitress for over ten years. I have gone through a bunch of different shoes. The ones that I have had the most success with are calles "Shoes for Crews" at shoesforcrews.com. They are slip resistant and wash over very easily. I have had the same pair for over a year and they're still like new. I also have bad arches, and I haven't seem to need any additional inserts yet!

in the barnes and noble site. i saw that their user sells some of the medical books for a cheaper price. and i was planning to buy some for myself. do you think that i can trust that site in buying an item online?
