about you being a nurse/or your pursuit of becoming a nurse?

My 4yo is very excited. She had some food stuck in her teeth and asked me to get it out. After I removed the food with dental floss, she said, "Mommy you're a good nurse." It made me feel good even though it wasn't nursing and I haven't even started my program yet. She asks me all the time if i'm a nurse yet.

O/T I got my stethoscope the other day and I am so psyched. Okay that's all.

One son is excited about me becoming a nurse and the other one wants me to come work at his school and read! I sometimes go to school and read in the library to the classes.

My 4yr old daughter loves the fact that mommy will be able to do some more fun things with her once I am a nurse. She also loves to show me where her lungs, heart and other organs are. And I had to buy her a cheap stethoscope. I am hoping that she will go into nursing too.

My son thinks that nurses are out to kill and my daughter is toooo young to understand.

My 3 year old don't like the ideal of me being a nurse, she thinks if shes bad mommy will give her shots. My 5 year old loves the ideal of me being a nurse because he thinks there is going to be unlimited stickers and suckers. My 8 year old (a girly girl) wants to help me shop for pretty/sponge bob scrubs.

My 7 year old is already telling her friends "My mom is a nurse" with such a proud voice.. I love it.. I tell her, No honey not yet.. one day.

My kids think it is funny that I am in school, too! My 8 year old girl is really proud, but I think my 11 year old is a little worried about the whole thing!

I have a 15 yr old son and i think he is just observing me of being very busy with my course. Oneday, i ask him "What do u want to take up when u go to College?", He said, im thinking but no way, i dont want to be a Nurse, it's sooooo tiring!
