Question? - Volunteering Question

Hello All,

I'm new to the forum. I'm currently taking prerequisites to get accepted into Oakland Univeristy's (in Michigan) Accelerated Program. I have no previous medical work experience. My question is: If I go to a hospital to volunteer would it be beneficial for me to already have Adult/Pediatric CPR and First Aid training or will that particular hospital make me get these trainings again?

Re: Volunteering Question

I would think that if you are volunteering and it is a requirement the facility will provide you with instruction and certification. Your school will also probably require that you have BLS for Health Care Professionals. Ask them.
