Are there any student officials here? I was wondering what it is like for your student council. How are responsibilities delegated or do you work more as a committee, what types of projects are you working on, etc.

Thanks

Re: Student council

Are you referring to your nursing class as in class officers? If so then the general role is to be a unified voice for the class especially when issues come up, schedule last semester pictures, fund-raising (to offset graduation costs, etc), decide on uniforms for pinning ceremony, disseminate information from the nursing dept to the students, etc...

The costs for graduation where I attend include a Dr. Marion Sides and a Kaplan NCLEX review, graduation pin, lamp, class gift, graduation fee, reception. All together about $650 per student for graduation, NOT including cap/gown, annoucements, etc.
