Maybe I hang around the wrong people, but I agree with this stat even without out a link just from what I see and hear on a daily basis.

And didn't anyone watch Sex and the City the movie? Now Steve shouldn't have done what he did, but SIX MONTHS, Miranda. SHAME!

Even the B-I-B-L-E says that a husband and wife should not go without having sex unless they BOTH agree, so they won't be tempted. Give me a minute and I will get the chapter and verse for you.

Re: Sex and Nursing School

It's very possible that the statistic is true! It said in their lifetime...I don't know about you but high school silliness got the best of me and I "cheated" on my SO once! Not the one I'm with now! My SO at one time was dating a girl who moved away, he didn't continue to speak with her and started dating someone else..that could be considered "cheating." Just my thoughts on the subject.

I often wonder how my SO and my sex life will be like come school time...We have an 8 month old, I work full time, he stays home with the baby, I also am the one that takes the baby to her appointments...My life is VERY busy as it is...SO there are weeks that go by that we don't have sex...I guess we'll figure it out/fit it in as we do now!

Re: Sex and Nursing School

Speaking from personal experience, if you don't pay attention to them and get too busy and caught up in other things, (housework, bills, children, work, school, etc) they will start to wander. I caught my husband wandering and don't place all of the blame on him. I'm worring about this very topic becoming an issue during NS but we are communicating now and with both of us on the same page, hopefully all will work out.

Re: Sex and Nursing School

when im stressed out with papers, careplans, clinical rotation, exams, i dont feel like doing anything with my husband, even sex. this was not so great because my husband was leaving for Iraq. the week he left, i just got back to school and was so overwhelm with school and him leaving i could not even relax. all my anxiety spiked my blood pressure. find ways not to neglect your husband or yourself, even if it mean relaxing and having sex once in awhile. your almost there and your going to graduate soon!!!

Re: Sex and Nursing School

While I was in school our sex life dwindled down to once a week and believe me I heard about it daily. My fiance eventually left me after almost 4 years together and almost immediately he found a 22 year old (10 years younger than himself). it's the biggest slap in the face. If I could go back I would have paid more attention to him but i thought he would be understanding. Wrong on my part!

Re: Sex and Nursing School

I can believe the cheating statistics if they are based not just on marriages but from relationships in general. It happens...alot. Men are not biologically made to be with one person...we are meant to spread our seed freely. Ok, I'm ducking for cover now...see ya guys when the flames go away

That's ridiculous! He should have been more understanding esp. given the circumstances and at least he was getting it once a week! I think men can be very selfish regarding sex and how much they want it without regard to their partner's feelings. They want what they want but do they stop to think about what their partner wants...no so much! Sorry but this is a sensitive subject that easily irritates me!

Re: Sex and Nursing School

I've been single for about 6 or 7 years now, and plan on trying to remain single during NS, but doesn't look like it will happen.

Someone just put a move on my heart...!!
