I just saw this online. I know that in order to apply to the school of nursing at SDSU, you also need to be accepted to SDSU first. I was looking at the deadline today and it said that for Spring 2008 they are not accepting transfer students from outside the area (i.e. outside san diego area). Does anyone know anything about this? B/C if this is the case then technically in the Spring 2008 they're only accepting San Diego residents for the nursing program as a result of the SDSU transfer admission policy. It totally blows for us outside SD because I really thought I had a good chance of getting into the nursing program

In one way it sounds like a fair way to deal with too many qualified applicants. If you are really set on this school is there any way possible that you can establish an acceptable address for the purpose of admission? You can abandon the address once it becomes evident that you are not accepted to that particular program. Just a thought.
