(Or just pick which sentence is correct, or which word correctly fits into the sentence??)This portion of my study book does not have any "Now you try it" parts, so I am not really sure what they are looking for when giving us all this gramatical information.
If someone could help me out a little with direction of the grammer portion of the HESI, I sure would appreciate it!! I do very well with writing, and setence structure. However, I have NEVER done great at diagraming a sentence e.g. saying what the adverbial clause is, where the adjective is. I have never memorized each part (beyond the basic noun, verb, adverb) and frankly, if I don't have to memorize it now, I would rather NOT!!! Are they REALLY going to be asking me to identify the noun, verb conjunction, adverb ECT??
Thanks!!

I didn't take the HESI, but I took the NET and they didn't ask which was a noun, verb, adjective etc...
