Fortunately, my husband and I have been putting away money for my education for the past few years. So far, we haven't had to take out any loans and hopefully I can finish school without needing to

I'll have around $30K. We're not debt fans anymore and are working on getting stuff paid off. Just started Dave Ramsey in April so our outlook has changed but in order for me to find a decent job I need to finish my RN. I had enough pre-reqs done that it wouldn't save me any time or $ to switch to an ADN program so I'm finishing my BSN. I'm hoping to find a job with tuition reimbursement but if not then we'll pay our stupid tax for having debt and continue with our goal of paying everything off and not incurring any other debt ever except a house. Still makes me cringe signing the loan request forms. I feel like a Dave Ramsey hypocrite. Ugh. But, like I said, I'm committed to finishing school and I've waited 10 years to do it so student loans are part of life right now. We life fine off of dh's active duty military income so I'm only getting enough loans to pay tuition and books, not living expenses so that helps.
