Oh - and let me add one more thing... at my school, we tend to bug the upperclassmen for advice before the start of each semester, and I have learned to block out what they say and to form my own opinion. No two people truly have the same experience, and sometimes something may be hard for one person, and easy for another. I guess I am just trying to say not to let anyone scare you about what is coming. Just push through it!

At my school is was the best semester,BUT it wasnt the easiest. I want to be an OB nurse and thats why I started nursing school. I found as a mother of 4 kids it was more difficult for me to separate my own personal experiences from text book answers especially with peds. I did very well but had to forget my own thoughts. My teacher also had a way to ask very trickey questions. Just dont go in thinking its going to be super easy cause it isn't. I didnt realize all that was involved on the nursing side. Good luck! Hopefully you will love OB, I most definitely did!
