I have to celebrate while I can because Finals are next week and next semester is quickly approaching...

This semester has gone by so fast, was so hard, and there has been so many problems with instructor available to assist. Not to mention that lots of changes were made at the last minute... I am still pinching myself that I did everything right and passed!! Anyone else thanking God and everyone else they see?? Please check-in!

I passed with a 102 out of 104. I forgot rapid hand motions, worth two points.

I passed mine! I don't know my number score but I maintained asepsis throughout my SC injection and remember almost all my verbals! I also had to show I could don sterile gloves w/o contaminating and I haven't been able to all semester until test day and they just slid on! Perfect! I still have 2 written tests but I'm not nearly as worried about them, I've done well on those all semester except my first Pharm test which was a 68%. I have chalked that up to learning how to take these tests because since then I have maintained a strong B average. I am ready for a break though, that is for sure! After next Wed I don't have school until the 14th of January!

I passed all of the skills tests for NUR101--injections, sterile technique (sterile field/sterile gloves/dressing changes), as well as B/P + apical pulse. I also passed the clinical portion of the course which was surprising. We had our evaluation yesterday which went along great. I hit a rough patch a few weeks ago and my clinical instructor sent me home for something completely stupid. It was basically because I was too timid for stuff and needed a boost to become more assertive. So I took the initiative to work on my weaknesses which my instructor was happy about. She said she felt bad, but she had to do it. It's understandable...sucks that I have a make up day though. So yay for nur101 being over on Dec. 10th. I can't wait. Just praying I'll pass the final.

Yea!! I got an A on my skills exit exam. Now I have two finals next Wednesday and then I am off until January. It has been a very quick quarter with 3 papers due, 3 midterms, a health faire group project and that was all since Sept. 26th. Now I just have finals and I can take a breather.
