Question Organic Chemistry- Naming Hydrocarbons

Do you know of any good websites that help you figure out how to name Alkanes, Alkynes, Alkenes. In my chemistry course we just started Organic and I know memorization is key But lets just say when it comes to this class.. nothing comes easy.

Any input would be appreciated! Thank you X 100,000,000 =

ps- I am using my book, the cd from the book, notes, and I do have a tutor.. Im just not meeting with her until tuesday and im trying to get some work done. So I am using my resources in case your wondering.

4 more weeks of Chemistry.. woooh!!! Cant wait!

Hi,

Try these:

http://www.chemguide.co.uk/basicorg/...ons/names.html

http://www.teachmetuition.co.uk/Chem...hemistry_1.htm

http://chemware.co.nz/org.htm

http://my.mcckc.edu/portal/page/port...es/orgname.pdf

http://www.csub.edu/chemistry/nom/nomenclature.html

Good luck. Stick with the tutor.
