Re: Nursing Students' Summer Plans

Working as an extern in a hospital full time and picking up casual call in a nursing home on the side. I have two days off the whole month of June. I'm certain that someone will call and beg me to work both days anyways

I keep telling myself I need to make some cash this summer.

Hi all, Jersey Boy here.....only the JERSEY SHORE holds claim to the title!!!! :>P I lived in SC for 6 years, and the entire coast of NC/SC including Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Isle of Palms, and Hilton Head are all referred to collectively as "The Beach"---

We love to have all you "Bennies" (jersey speak for tourists) visit our great beaches and boardwalks during the summer! Bring loads of cash...

Talking Re: Nursing Students' Summer Plans

I'm apparently starting off my summer by becoming addicted to allnurses.com! The kids have been with their dad for the past two days and I swear all I've done is read posts and LMAO! This forum is definitely a great way to spend the summer preparing for nursing school!

I really, really wanted a month or two off but my first choice hospital offered me a day shift and orientation begins the same time for everyone -- so I couldn't turn it down.

I can't tell ya how many times I've had to explain it to people who aren't in this area at all.

I've had some ask why it's down and not over.
