Re: Nursing student: question.

do you think flash cards that review you for the NCLEX would be ok, or you think review books? I read online somewhere that getting review nclex cards, organizing them according to the class you are taking, and reviewing them for each class...helps with the class, then helps later with the nclex???

Re: Nursing student: question.

yes I am told I will be crazy, I just keep thinking it is only a year and then I will be a nurse.. I wont work, so I will only have time to study...it is a crazy schedule, and I dont know what to expect, but I have been told by current students that the teachers are really nice and a little more forgiving than the regular program because they know you are going through a lot..
are you in school?

Re: Nursing student: question.

I just started my acclerated BSN program on Monday and let me tell you when they say accelerated, they mean it! I am currently in Pharmacology and just had my first 2 exams today. I would say make sure you know medical terms/abbreviations, dosage calculations (a.k.a. dimensional analysis), and if you can, just a little basic pharmacology (pharmacokinetics, etc.)

Just my 2 cents. Hope that helps...and good luck on your journey! Next year, we'll both be nurses!
