Nursing Magazine Subscriptions

Our instructor has advised us to subscribe to nursing magazines/journals. Which ones are the best for vocational nursing students? Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Re: Nursing Magazine Subscriptions

Not a student, but RN magazine had a lot of general articles that helped me through school.

Re: Nursing Magazine Subscriptions

I subscribed to Nursing when I was a student and liked it. Didn't care as much for others. They were more scholarly. I thought Nursing articles were written in more down to earth language that was easy to understand. I let my subscription expire when I had to move. Magazine collections are only good if you have a garage to store them in and I never wanted to throw them away.

There is a professional journal just for LPNs called LPN 2007. It is published by the same company that publishes Nursing 2007. Here is a link to information about this magazine.
