i've posted before on the pre-nursing student forum and didn't receive much feedback so i was hoping that you guys can help me out since you already got in and maybe have more answers
I applied to two schools with accelerated programs and both are highly competitive: SFSU/Canada prg and Samuel Merritt ABSN
I'm stressing myself out wayyyy too much about waiting to hear back from these schools and I have some questions about my chances
I graduated from Berkeley with a 2.8 GPA

and I majored in Integrative Biology. I re-took one semester of Biology (lab was ridiculous) and one semester of multi-variable calculus (i took it freshmen year because i liked math in hs and that was a big mistake!)... I also took really cool classes, like Hormones and the Behavior, sports medicine, and 2 psych classes. I took 3 pre-reqs at a local cc and got A's, yay! (dev. psych, speech, and micro bio)
I scored an 88 on the NET and I volunteered at a hospital for a year.
I work there now in a non profit organization in the geriatrics department.
I'm worried because I feel like I wasted four years at Berkeley and I'm mad at myself for not working harder to get better grades. I didn't know I wanted to be a nurse until my last semester.
I want an honest opinion on wether I have any chances of getting accepted into the 2 programs I have applied and if I don't get in, what should i do to better my chances for next time?
Thanks in advance
