I know this is a dry thread....but 'they'll' come around soon.
I went to Half-Price Books today & picked up three books (only spent $19).
I'm not sure whether or not they will help me in nursing school, but I figure they are good reading to get used to looking at nursing diagnosis/careplan 'language'.

The books are
Manual of Nursing Diagnosis,
Wellness - Nursing Diagnosis for Health Promotion, and
Cultural Health Assessment.
The cultural book tells you what to expect from different cultures....things like eye contact, touching, health care beliefs, death rites, and families roles in hospital care...very interesting!!!!
I won
Fluid and Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy and
Assessments Made Incredibly Easy from Ebay.....what a bargain!! (Thank you to whoever sold 'em cheap!)

They're 2nd edition, which isn't
too old. I don't feel like paying for 3rd edition. lol
I have my reading material & math study material for the nursing math test, and as soon as I finish my GOVT class, I'm taking the summer off to get ready for nursing school!
