Smile HAPPY!! - New Zealand 2nd year nursing student

Hey I have just found this site, and it is fabulous!!

So awesome to be able to support, encourage, laugh and cry with each other through out our journeys. I havent come across any other new Zealanders yet, will be interesting to see how the states and NZ compare in our training etc. Wishing you all the very best for 2008!!!

Re: New Zealand 2nd year nursing student

I'm in NZL.

Yay.

To be rude and jump in here: Traveller2bee, if you interested in finding out more about NZL nursing schools you might want to go here: http://www.nursingcouncil.org.nz/ they might be able to offer you more info on what you need to get over here.

But there's been plenty of Asian ladies in my class, and a few from Britain and even one from Russia, so obviously if they're letting in people from those countries, you should be okay.

You might need to contact NZL immigration for info on study and work permits http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/study/

Hopefully that's helpful.

Re: New Zealand 2nd year nursing student

Hi there Traveler,

As very helpful Shenanigins has already mentioned your best bet is to contact nursing council NZ on that link she provided. Over here you can't change schools from 2nd year on, Would you be doing your 2nd or 3rd year? You would more chance of getting in if you are starting your 2nd year, I only know this, as I looked at changing schools in my third year and its not possible.

We also have many different students from different countries, I am sure you would have no problem at all.

Wish you all the best!! Would be great to have you! Let me know if I can help in any other way.

Cheers
Angelchick
