In need of a good recommendation for drug calculation books and careplan books

If anyone has a great drug calculation book that CLEARLY explains IV calculations and Critical care calculations with practice problems and a careplan blook that explains really well the careplan basics and includes careplans. I would greatly appreciated. My two books are horrible and I had them for a year now and I am looking for something else. So if you can tell me I would appreciate it so I can order them from barnes and nobles or amazon before the semester starts and I can brush up on those skills I should really have down.

Thanks

For a Drug Calc book, i would recommend "Calculate with Confidence" by Gray

Its a great book, explains things well, and has lots of excercises with answers in the back.

For careplans, I love NANDA, NIC, and NOC. These are three separate books that are the basis for all other careplan books. It does not have written careplan outlines however. We had to sign an academic policy that we would not refer to other careplan books when writting our own, so these are the only ones we use. Goodluck!

I use "Drug Calculations for Nurses A step by Step Approach" by Robert Lapham and Heatehr Agar. It is a really useful section on Iv's . I hope you can buy it in the USA, it is a very helpful book.

I don't use any books for care plans, I normally go to www.careplans.com.

Hope that helps.

I strongly recommend Dosage Calculations by Gloria Pickar 7th edition. It explains in great detail the different types of calculations and is easy to understand.

we use this book with very limited instruction. It is very easy to follow on your own and self-teach.

I use Lippincott's 2008 Drug Guide and for care plans, I use both Nursing Diagnosis by Ackley and Ladwig along with the All-in-One Care plan book by Swearingen. I have a book by Carpenito, as well.
