NCLEX practice test gone terribly wrong!

I'm still very upset, rather I'm really disheartened. Our class just completed the 2nd semester of a 4 semester LVN program. We were given an NCLEX test which covered the semesters completed, we had a 6 hours review and the instructor was very pleased and commented how much we really know!
Like most of the students I did over 800 NCLEX questions during the week prior to the test and believed I had a solid footing on the material. Combined with the fact that I just completed a Clinical Review Program with presentation (I received a 5 out of 5) and have maintained a high GPA I thought "I'm prepared for this semester test".
THE ENTIRE CLASS FAILED!! We had to get 160/200 and the highest grade was 145/200. What the hell happened the instructor asked.
I'm very disheartened over this whole thing. For an entire class to fail a test either the test was invalid or we're not getting the information we need. Do you agree? I know a lot of student, including myself, study all the time - NCLEX books and texts. When discussing the topic during class recently the instructor mentioned that perhaps we didn't read it correctly, or prehaps we didn't eat a good breakfast, or didn't study or etc etc.
So, what do you suggest to me so I can move on and let it go. It was so hard sitting in theory class; normally I enjoy school. Does this mean I'm not getting the information I need to pass the Board in a year? Or what? I study all the time, I read the text, do NCLEX, research on line topics I need further information on, read Nursing Magazines and I work as a Home Health Aide with the elderly and do some hospice care, so I do have hands on experience as well. I just don't get it.
