Re: May Grads? Do you have jobs yet?

I will be graduating May 2, and haven't even started applying. I know I want to do ICU, but it's hard to find the right avenue into ICU (i.e. and internship or start in step down and work up to ICU). I know I "DO NOT" want to work in Med-Surg.

One of the problems is that we want to move, but don't know if we'll be able to. So I don't know if I should apply here (where we live now) or there (where we want to move to).

Anyhow, one of my friends just interviewed for a Burn ICU and was hired on the spot. Wow!

One of my other friends is a CNA in a CVICU and her boss offered her a job in the step down side.

I will start applying next week. My son is on Spring Break this week, so haven't had time to start applying.
