Maternal/Newborn Plans of Care: Guidelines for Individualize Care, 3rd Edition, by Marilynn E. Doenges and Mary Frances Moorhouse as a guide. It also includes care plans for newborns. I also use the
Clinical Companion for Foundations of Maternal-Newborn Nursing, 4th Edition, by Sharon Smith Murray and Emily Slone McKinney. This second book is only about $25 and it is jammed with information.
Please remember that when you are writing care plans that you are primarily working with assessment data. That never changes. So, while you may have a postpartum patient who has an episiotomy infection, you are still going to be using some very familiar nursing diagnoses that you've used in the past. The difference will be in some of the nursing interventions employed.

Almost all are in PDF files so you need an Acrobat reader to download and see these files. Each chapter also provides Internet links to more online information.
