Re: Looking into nursing

rbezemek,

You are right about me not having a high familiarity about nursing. The only familiarity that I have to nursing is that I used to date one...lol

I know that nurses dont run the health care system and that somebody with a suite and tie run the show who is clueless about nursing....that I can deal with. I think nursing is great because you can pick up your bags, move else where, and have a job. In law enforcement is different. IT is not that easy. For example, If i want to move to another state and be an officer for that state, I would have to go back to the police academy for that state and go through the motions of getting hired for a department. That process can take up to a year or even more.

I have always thought about nursing even before I became an officer 14 years ago. Now that I had ENOUGH, I need to make that change.

Maybe you are right about me been an EDnurse...I am a law enforcement instructor...lol Who knows where I am going to end up. I would like to be an ER nurse or ICU nurse.
