Hi Everybody!

I'm Carol, mother of 2 teenage sons and a 5 yr. old daughter.

Working on my pre-reqs for ADN. This is my second degree; the

first one served me well for seven years, but I just got laid off

from my job because I don't have a Bachelor's. I was earning

more than most people in my field & area that do have a

Bachelor's; so it's going to be tough. I've been working on my RN

anyway, but now have to also find a new job. Oh well,

everything happens for a reason. Good luck to everyone.

Hello,

My name is Jodi. I am 32, married five months to the man of my dreams. I have four kids of my own - 13, 11, 8, and 5, first and last are boys - and two of hubby's, ages 26 and 24 (he's 17 yrs older). I have been an overnight hotel manager for a couple of yrs now, but my true calling has reached deafening shouts! I have decided to take it step by step and I will start CNA on November 15th and quit my current job in January. Hallelujah!! Hopefully I can get into the July 2003 LPN program, otherwise I'll start that in Jan 2004. Then the AS/RN, then the Bachelor's, then the Master's... God willing, I will get a CNA job at one of the hospitals here and they'll pay for all the rest.

Great to meet you, thanks for having me!

Jodi
