Re: Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

Hi everyone!
My name is Judy, and after going to UIUC for 2 years, I decided that I wanted to go into nursing. However, I realized it's another admission process all over again for getting a BSN, so I'm going for my ASN, and then later on complete my BSN (when the hospital pays for it!) So I start my ASN program in the fall, but I'm taking my science classes and getting them out of the way, plus in the spring I'll be taking a CNA class, so I'm excited for this upcoming semester.

So that's me! Thanks for reading!

Re: Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

Hello everyone, this is d.page. I am a male LPN. It has been a while since I have been on the site. I have been struggling through the bridge program (LPN to ADN) with SWIC in Belleville,Il. I will be starting my last semester in January and if all goes well I will be graduating in May 2008. Thanks to those that have given me good advice in the past and I am sure that I will be "bugging" you again this upcoming semester.

Re: Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

Hello everyone!!
I am 27. I have 3 kiddos~~8y/o boy, 3 3/4 y/o boy, 2 y/o girl. I will be starting my nursing courses in August. Just received my letter this month. I had started Nursing school back in 2004 but due to complications with my pregnancy I wasn't able to go back that winter.
I am a former Army Medic so hopefully some of it will come back to me. Been awhile.
So anyhow, here I am getting back into it. This time with 3 kids instead of 1!!

Forgot to add that I am happily married!!

Hi! I'm 39, married, 3 BOYS (12,9,5). Decided after 14 yrs working as an accountant that I wanted to be a nurse, so 2 yrs ago I went back to school. What a shock! Am starting 2nd semester of BSN program this spring. Absolutely love nursing! Don't know why I waited so long. My 1st semester instructor introduced me to this website. I've already found tons of useful info, especially study tips. Can't wait to try them.
