Re: Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

Hello everyone!!

I just want to say that I love this forum! All the info and encouragement I've found on this site has really helped me. I've just finished the first 8 weeks of my ADN nursing program and it seems like it will take forever for me to finish, but I'll keep keepin on!

Good luck to everyone here! I've heard (as well as experienced) the horror stories of nursing programs, but if we want to be nurses we all have to get through it and it's nice to know that I can find support here!

Hello all, my name is Andrew. I am currently in my last semester of nursing school and I really cannot wait to graduate. I am four months into my marriage to a wonderful nurse, she has her BSN. My mother is a MSN. I just hope that I can have just as much success as they have.

Hello all!
My name is Karen. I am 27, and I live in South Georgia with my wonderful husband and our beautiful 14 month old son.
I am in my second quarter my ADN program. So far I love it, but it is REALLY stressful. I have already learned so much from this site and I have recommended it to my classmates.

THANKS!

Hi everyone. My name is Stef (obviously, lol) and I'm married with 3 children. We live in southeastern Mass and I'm in week 10 of my first semester of school. It's a hospital based school and so far I've learned a TON! We start clinicals on Saturday and I can't wait

I'll be graduating in May of 2010 with my RN.

Re: Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

My name is Heather and I just got my acceptance letter for Spring. I am so totally ready for this next step. I have worked really hard and neglected my family(husband and 3 kids), for awhile now and now I know why...for this, Only 2 more years. My head is literally spinning.
I love this website.

Heather

Re: Introductions:"New" and "Old" Students.

Hello everyone!!

I'm Diamond and I am a wife and the mother of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 6-12. My husband is currently serving his second tour in Iraq in 3 years, he's been gone for 1 year so far this tour. I have five classes this semester. I am on the waitlist for my current school's ADN program, and am applying to BSN programs since it will take the same amount of time. Hopefully handling this stress will help me a little to prepare for the stresses of the nursing program.

I wish you all well!!
