Smile Hello

Hello,
My name is Shunda and I am originally from Texas but I live in Alabama now. I am married with 3 boys and I am in school right now working on my pre-reqs. I am trying to decide if I am going to go into the LPN program in January or just keep working on my pre-reqs. I currently am a Mental Health Technician and I work with children adn pre-adolescents. I have worked with adults also. I love my job and when I finish nursing school I want my speciality to be psychiatric nursing. I really do love this board and I have told all of my nursing friends about this BB. It is very informative and I love all of the discussions. To everyone old and new it is nice meeting you and May God Continue to Bless Each and Everyone of us in our Endeavors.
HI EVERYONE AND ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shunda

Brendita-Of course I know who you are Brenda...you know anytime you need me, I am here for you If you can't depend on your friends, who can you depend on?

To Shunda and Toya:

Best of luck to both of you If you stay motivated, you will succeed and the reward is priceless!!!! (Or so I'm told). Nice to meet the both of you.

Sherry

Exclamation I am a brand new student

Hi Everyone,
I am brand new to this site and to nursing! I am in my first semester of a five semester ADN program to graduate May 2004...man that seems like a long time away. I am 22 and married with a 13 year old step-son, 2 year old little boy and a baby on the way. I am working at a restaraun to supplement our income, but hoping to find a job at the hospital. The only problem is I do not know what half of the positions posted at the hospital do!!! Still a little green. We are just about to start care plans . Thank God for Fall Break!!!!!!

Things are fairly smooth right now. It was a rude awakening the first few weeks though. I am preparing to start my clinicals and all of that nursing care plan "stuff" in the next week. I still have not found any maternity scrubs!!!!
