LPN-Future RN... You are right about making time for family and self.

One thing that works to clear my head is exercise. I have to get my exercise. It's the only thing that clears my head. And, lately I've been forcing myself to do it....

I do have some good news..... Originally, I was scheduled to start Nursing I in Fall '03. Well, I got a letter from the Nursing Dept. at the college stating a vacancy for Spring '03. I start Nursing I in January!!!

Hello to All,

I'm also starting a new career! I'm 40 something with 3 kids (16, 12, & 10), 1 husband of 20 years, 1 dog and 2 cats.

Last fall I started on my pre-req's in order to apply to the nursing program in May 2003. It's been a long road. Since my math wasn't all that good, I've had to work my way up the ol' math ladder. In January 2003 I will take Applied Algebra and Biology and then I will be qualified to apply. Just hope I can get in the class starting Fall 2003.

Good Luck to all and I hope to see alot more of this board. It's great! It really keeps me motivated

Welcome Sherry!..... Ya know who I am! I told you this site was great!

Sherry's my shoulder to cry on! My decision to finally get off my booty and become a nurse is partly because of her!

So again! Thanks Sherry!
