Thumbs down As if school isn't expensive enough.....

The nursing school i attend doesn't incorporate the cost of the HESI or DRT into tuition, rather they send the students the bill at the end of the semester. Does anyone else suffer the same fate? or do other schools incorporate the cost of these test into tuition? Just curious to see how other institutions handle the cost of these test.

Thanks

My school uses ATI and they never disclosed the price. I found out about it one day when I got a letter from the Bursar stating I owed $700 dollars!

Ours is similar, but we have to pay prior to taking each test, or we cant take the test.

Not only do we have to pay for the tests but we got the same EXACT test this semester that we got last semester. Talk about a big waste.

Re: As if school isn't expensive enough.....

We do ATI and it's built into our tuition. I forget what the price was. What gets me is they act like they are doing us a favor by giving us the test...uh yeah I'm paying for it.

Looks like it's $100 every now and then.

What drives me crazy is the school service fee and the student council fee. Um how about we can the student council and I keep my money.
