Re: Hesi

Which HESI? A2, mid-cirriculum or exit? Just to let you know, we have to sign confidentiality agreements that we will not discuss the test and we've all worked to hard to get banned for something so silly. But I will tell you that there are 2 study books made by HESI just to prepare you for them (A2 has one and then the HESI RN NCLEX Review is for mid-cirriculum/exit depending on what you have learned up to the date of the test, depending on your institution). I got mine when it was still hesi.com but I think Evolve bought them out in the meantime. These books are my recommendation to you. The NCLEX review comes with a CD that gives practice questions. That is as close as I am comfortable getting to the topic. I hope that helps you! And if you need help finding the right book, I don't mind helping you with that.

Good luck!

Re: Hesi

They just told us that it is a Fundamentals Hesi, I don't any more than that. I sure don't want you to break your confidential agreement, that is the first that I have ever heard about that. Thanks, though.

Re: Hesi

Are you talking about the Health Education Systems, Inc.? I haven't taken the Fundementals version, but we did receive a workbook that comes with a CD with practice questions. I've taken the Peri-OP, Psych., and Peds/OB tests. They're questions more like NCLEX questions.

Re: Hesi

I Took The Hesi Exam( Fundamentals) Today And I'm Quite Upset At How Outside Companies Pre-determine Your Success. The College I Attend Started This Hesi (junk) This Year For The Fall08 Term And In Order To Get Into The R.n Program You Have To Pass Each Section, Math, Reading, vocabs, and Grammar With A 78% And A Overall Average Of 78%. Well I Did Pass In My Book Overall I Made A 82.90% ,but Far As Each Section No In Reading I Made An 93 In Math I Made A 82 In Grammar 80 In Vocabs 76 Just One Lil Question Away From It And I Was Denied Entrance In The Fall 08 Nursing Program. Please If Anyone Can Help Tell Me Do You Think I Should Fight To Get In. Oh By The Way This Is My Second Time Taking It And Each Time I Fail The Same Test And And Get The Same Score, not To Mention Even Though I Passed Every Thing Else I Still Have To Re-take Them Again. Also If I Don't Pass This Time I Will Not Make It In The Program At The School Period Three Tries And Your Done With Them. Not To Mention That I'm A Two Time Dean's List Student And Have Passed All My Required Class With Nothing Less Than A "b" With Overall Gpa 3.0. I'm Thinking About Boycotting My Campus If I Can't Make The Program This Year,i Worked Pretty Darn Hard For This. This Country Complain About Nurse Shortage But Yet When The Up And Coming Nurses Who Are Busting Our Butts To Get Out And And Help Our Fellow Collegue.it's Always A Step Backward, Because Of Some Money Making Ideal
