Hi! I posted this on prenursing, but decided this would probably be the better place to post! What is your favorite wrist watch that you were for clinicals?
Thanks!

Any watch works fine, as long as it has a second hand or if its digital shows seconds. I just wear my regular watch that I wear everyday.

I love the Wenger Swiss Army/Military watches. (Ladies) They have a second hand, military time, the date, and are waterproof. The one I have even has the day of the week on it. It helps when working nightshift! The one I am wearing now I had for over 5 years. It just needs a battery periodically. They go for under $75.

I bought my watch at Target: $9, it shows digital seconds, works perfectly for work and school needs, and best of all, it's PINK. Major pink-o-phile here! Plus, I'm not worried out of my mind if something spills on it/gets lost/breaks, because hey, it was $9. Easily replaced. Did I mention it was pink?

Just a little...
I mean, if I have to wear the regulation teal or burgundy (which does NOT count as pink) for work, and then I have to change into all white for classes and clinicals, I gotta get my pink in somewhere. I tried to do a pair of light pink Crocs but my manager said no So, it's the Target wristwatch.

This is the watch that I bought for my clinicals and I love it. http://www.allheart.com/nm866451.html Yes, it's a little pricey, but it's just so darn cute. There's something about having to dress like everbody else that drives me crazy. Our dress code is pretty strict. All white... not even a little stripe on your white shoes is allowed. So, I smile every time I take a pulse and look down at my cute little watch because I'm reminded that I am not a clone. Funny what a watch can do.
But, as much as I adore my watch, I've decided that I'd rather have a naked wrist when dealing with the many yucky things that nurses have to deal with. So, I just ordered this lapel watch http://www.allheart.com/pm1741.html I think lapel watches are great inventions and I hope I like it as much as I think I will.
Have fun watch shopping!

I have a Fossil watch, and it has worked out great for me so far. It was kind of expensive ($55), but it has a metal wristband, is water resistant, and comes with an 11 year warranty.

Ditto on the Fossil. I luuurrrve it. The only thing, actually, is that the seconds aren't marked off. Also I would cry if anything happened to it. But hey, it's cool looking, and I like it.

Tried and true Timex. Inexpensive and takes a licking but keeps on ticking.
